Assignment One: Field Trip of the MIND (Assigned Sept 8)
Together in class we imagined a trip to the West Edmonton Mall, and we went to a store called "Everything Cowboy". Together we made lists of all of the things we "saw" in the store.
Students: make sure that you have the list of the things you saw!

Assignment Two: Make a Historical Map (Assigned Sept 9)
From your reading and from your internet search, determine the approximate year that Frank Ross is murdered. Develop a MAP of the Arkansas and Territory areas where the novel takes place. REMEMBER! You should include things that were there THEN, not the things that are there NOW. For example, the State of Oklahoma DOES NOT EXIST in the time of the novel.
